Package: com.techpuram.app.thermalprintergo
Developer: Techpuram
Effective date: August 8, 2026
Last updated: August 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Thermal printer Go (“the App”) handles information when you use the App on Android devices. By installing or using the App, you agree to this policy.

1. Overview

Thermal printer Go is a lightweight utility for connecting to thermal printers over Bluetooth, USB (OTG), or Wi‑Fi/network and printing text you enter in the App. We designed the App to work primarily on your device. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not operate a user profile database for this App.

2. Information we collect

The App may process the following categories of information:

2.1 Information stored only on your device

This data stays on your device in Android SharedPreferences (or equivalent local storage). It is not uploaded by us to a Techpuram server.

2.2 Printer connection data (processed locally)

Print content is sent directly from your phone to the printer you select. We do not receive a copy of your print jobs on our servers.

2.3 Information we do not intentionally collect

3. Permissions

Depending on your Android version and how you use the App, it may request:

You can deny permissions that are not required for the connection method you use, though some features will not work without the related permission.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App displays ads using Google AdMob. Google and its partners may collect and process device and advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, and interaction data with ads, according to Google’s policies.

You may be able to reset or limit advertising identifiers in your device settings, and you may opt out of personalized ads where Google provides that choice for your region.

5. Third-party services

6. Third-party libraries used in the App

The App includes open-source and commercial libraries distributed with the APK. Below is a summary of the main third-party components, why they are used, and whether they may process data beyond your device.

6.1 Libraries that may process data online

6.2 UI and AndroidX libraries (on-device only)

These libraries help build and run the App UI. They do not send your print content or printer settings to Techpuram. They may use standard Android system APIs on your device.

AndroidX / Jetpack notices: AndroidX releases · Apache License 2.0

6.3 Language and concurrency libraries (on-device only)

6.4 What these libraries do not do for us

Third-party libraries may update over time when we release new versions of the App. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies linked above.

7. Children’s privacy

The App is a general-purpose printer utility and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support channels, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

8. Data retention and deletion

Local App data remains on your device until you clear the App’s storage, uninstall the App, or change settings that overwrite it. Because we do not host your print editor content on our servers, uninstalling the App removes that local data from the device (subject to any backups you configured on your own device or Google backup).

9. Data security

We take reasonable measures appropriate for a local utility App. Printer traffic (especially Bluetooth, USB, or local network printing) happens on or near your device and network. No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. Protect your device and network access as you would for any business tool.

10. International users

The App may be used in multiple countries. Advertising partners such as Google may process data in countries other than your own. Where required by law, those transfers are handled under the partner’s applicable safeguards and policies.

11. Your choices

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy, except where local law requires additional consent.
