Last Updated: July 23, 2026
Important Notice: This privacy policy has been updated to provide more detailed information about our data collection practices, third-party services, and your privacy rights. We encourage you to read this policy carefully.
1. Introduction
Welcome to Bluetooth-USB Thermal Printer Plus. This mobile application is owned and operated by Techpuram Technology Private Limited ("we," "us," "our," or "the Company"), a private limited company registered in India.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about how we collect, use, and share information when you use our mobile application ("the App").
This Privacy Policy explains:
- What information we collect and why
- How we use and share your information
- Your rights and choices regarding your information
- How we protect your information
- How to contact us with questions or concerns
By using Bluetooth-USB Thermal Printer Plus, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our App.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
We collect information that you voluntarily provide when using certain features of the App:
AI Generation Features
- Text Prompts: When you use AI-powered template or list generation features, the text prompts you enter are sent to our AI service provider (OpenRouter) for processing
- Generated Content: The AI-generated templates, lists, and outputs you create
- User Preferences: Your AI feature settings and preferences
OCR (Text Recognition) Features
- Images: Images you provide for text extraction are processed locally on your device using Google ML Kit
- Note: OCR processing is performed entirely on-device and images are not transmitted to external servers
Print Content
- Templates: Print templates you create and save
- Placeholders: Custom placeholder data you define
- Print History: Records of your print operations (stored locally)
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use our App, we automatically collect certain information:
Device Information
- Device model and manufacturer
- Operating system version (Android version)
- Unique device identifiers (Advertising ID, Android ID)
- Device screen size and resolution
- Device language and region settings
- Network information (WiFi/mobile data status)
App Usage Information
We collect detailed information about how you interact with our App features:
- AI Generation: Requests made, success/failure rates, models used, credits consumed

Log Data
- App configuration and version
- Date and time of app usage
- Error logs and crash reports
- Performance metrics
Advertising Data
- Advertising ID (for personalized ads)
- Ad impressions and interactions
- Ad performance metrics
2.3 Location Information
We do NOT collect location data. While the App requires Bluetooth permissions that historically required location access on older Android versions (Android 6-11), we use the neverForLocation flag on Android 12+ to explicitly indicate that Bluetooth is used only for printer connectivity, not for location tracking.
2.4 Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The following data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers:
- Activity Logs: Records of print operations, app events, and errors
- Print Templates: Saved templates and content you create
- App Settings: Your preferences, settings, and configuration choices
- Cached Data: AI service configuration, temporary files
- Placeholder Data: Custom placeholder definitions you create
This local data is stored using Android Room Database and SharedPreferences. You can clear this data at any time through Android Settings > Apps > Bluetooth-USB Thermal Printer Plus > Clear Data.
2.5 Print Bridge (Print From Anywhere / Automatic Order Printing)
Print Bridge is an optional feature that relays print jobs from a browser, your own order system, or an AI agent to this app over the internet, so the phone can print a job even while the app isn't open. Unlike the rest of the app, using Print Bridge means some data is processed on our server (printbridge.bluetoothprinter.in), not only on your device. This section explains exactly what.
Quick Print (no account)
- 12-digit code: A temporary code generated by the app to identify this phone for a single session
- Print content: The text or image you send is held only long enough to deliver it to your phone and confirm it printed
- Session data: Automatically deleted when the app's Print Bridge screen is closed, or by an automatic daily cleanup after 5 days at the latest
- No account, email, or sign-in is involved in this flow
Signed-in account (for remembered devices and automatic printing)
- Account identity: Signing in uses Firebase Authentication (Google Sign-In or an emailed magic link) - we receive your email address and a unique account ID from Firebase/Google; we never see or store a password
- API key: Issued to your account to authenticate print requests from your own order system, automation tool (e.g. n8n, Zapier), or an MCP-connected AI agent; stored only as a one-way (bcrypt) hash - we cannot recover your raw key ourselves
- Paired device data: A device name, a device-scoped authentication token, and - if automatic order printing is enabled - a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) push token, so a print job can be delivered to that specific phone
- Print job content and history: Order details or text/image content you or your connected system submit is stored only long enough to deliver and confirm printing, then removed on routine cleanup; job status (queued/sent/printed/failed) is kept as a short history so you can review it on the dashboard
Full details - including exactly how long each of these is retained and how to request deletion - are in the Print Bridge Privacy Policy, which this section summarizes.
